Christmas of 2008..

This year lights and music will start with a celebration on Dec 6 at 6 pm.
Santa will be here and we will sing Christmas carols and have hot cider
and cookies again.  Please join us!

We have added 3 new songs to the synchronized display for your
enjoyment bringing our total songs to 9.

For all of you baby boomers, there will be a fun 1950’s rendition of Jingle
Bells by Fred Waring and the Pennsylvanians.

For Disney fans, we have included music from the spectacular water &
fireworks attractions “Fantasmic” and “Illuminations”

On the radio, you will hear some announcements regarding the show and
reminders to be courteous of our neighbors.

One of the main focal points of the light display is a 27’ tall Christmas tree.
This year we added a slightly smaller inner tree of Red and Green lights.
This one feature added 6400 lights to the show and it makes a stunning
visual impact. You will also notice a few more strobes for those rare
special effects.

In our efforts to save more energy and the environment, all of the lights on
the roof have been replaced with LEDs. The power that it takes to light the
roof is now less then a 150 watt light bulb.  The red and blue lights on the
arches are also LEDs.  As the quality and technology of LEDs improve
each year, we will continue to add and replace with more efficient forms of
lighting.

Music will be played at a conservative level through outdoor speakers, but
the preferred way to experience the show is in your car with the radio
turned on and your windows rolled up to be sensitive to our neighbors. Let’
s all enjoy the holidays together as we celebrate Peace on Earth and
Goodwill to All Men!
